these traditional japanese higonokami or folding utility knives are made of high carbon “ao-hagane” blue steel. made by banshu hamono in the hyogo prefecture of japan.

wipe clean with a soft cloth. if liquid is needed, use water only and dry thoroughly to prevent rust.
